My feet are looking very leisured. Just the other day I had my first ever pedicure, which resulted in blood-red shiny Dracula-style toenails, and then this morning after aqua aerobics class I stood in the sun too long yapping with the other ladies; I came home to find I have a new flip flop tan line across each foot.

I know that this has nothing to do with thongs or anything else mentioned in your blog, but Sonja would recommend a Janome sewing machine. Don't go for anything flash or electronic though. We went for the basic($300ish on special)model and it had a fair old hammering on handbags and tent fabric and all sorts of things before it started to play up after 5 years of heavy duty use.

Indeed I was looking for something I could sew up a tent with. And possibly a handbag as well.
